e-PRO Realtor®

Marketing Manager

& loving husband to Mona LaCovey

I have to admit, as Mona's husband, I'm biased, but like car mechanics, doctors and lawyers, all agents are not the same.  But if you logically match Mona's credentials against anyone else, 99% of the time Mona will win.  Read the following and you'll see what I mean.

Designations

Like a doctor, lawyer or accountant, the letters after an agent´s name have meaning and value.  The more letters they have the greater the knowledge and training.  So here´s an easy test.  In restaurants, offices, and retail stores you will find real estate magazines.  Look at each agent ad and count how many have one, have two, have three or more designations.  Mona has three very important ones and you´ll find that few can match that.   (CRS, ABR, GRI).

Beyond Being an Agent

The broker is responsible for an office of agents.  Becoming a broker requires far more education and knowledge.  If you have this training, but are not responsible for an office, you are called an Associate Broker.  Flip through the real estate magazines again; only this time notice how many are Associate Brokers with 3 designations.  Mona has few peers with these credentials.

Being an agent does not necessarily make you a REALTOR®.  A Realtor® is a member of the National Association of Realtors who has agreed to ascribe to a higher industry standard.  This ultimately benefits you by raising the standard of the profession.  Mona is a REALTOR®.

Full Time vs Part Time

Would you trust your waitress to explain and negotiate a 45-50 page contract to you (standard length with legalese) designed to ultimately result in you making the largest investment in your life?  The vast majority of agents in this country are part timers looking for some extra money outside their full time job.  On the other hand, by virtue of the business model used, RE/MAX agents nearly always commit full time and have many more years of experience than other agents.  You have guessed right!  Mona is full time  career RE/MAX Realtor®!

Experience & Achievements

Realtors® can have a lot of training, but nothing can replace the "been there and done that" experience.  I would not hire a Realtor® with less than 7 years of experience (the average with one major company). Mona has 22 years of experiences she can apply the experience of the thousands she's worked with to you.

Frequently the phrase becomes, "what have you done lately?". The VALUE of Experience comes only with "RECENT" experience.  Are you working with one of the top agents?  Mona is a life time member of The Masters Club that only accepts the top agents in Anne Arundel County in their club.

If this does not convince you, Mona is a top RE/MAX Platinum Club and Hall of Fame Club member, a life time member of the Distinguished Sales Achievement Club, selected as one of the top agents in customer service in Anne Arundel County by What´s Up Annapolis Magazine, is a member of the Professional Standards Committee,  which hears and decides Realtor®, as well as consumer violations against the profession, a member of the Forms Committee which helps to define the 50 pages of contract forms used by all agents in the county.  She is also a past member of the Grievance Committee, the grand jury of complaints!

Want more?  Then check out what others say about Mona on her web site under "True Stories".  There are dozens of people telling you why they trust Mona.

Maybe you have heard that the print media is less effective due to the internet.  There are 3,000 agents in Anne Arundel County!  Guess what agent is on the first page of Google, Yahoo and MSN? You got it-it is Mona! It is a challenge with all the competition and getting there is not easy.  You may also see her on Craigslist, Facebook, Realtor.com Linkedin along with Mona's four web sites AnnapolisHomeInfo.com, MonaLaCovey.comHomes Database and The Homes Advantage along with a few dozen other web and blog sites.  When you consider 2/3 of the agents don´t even have a web site, which agent are you gonna call?  J

What most people aren't aware of is that the mark of a truly top Realtor® is not just what I´ve mentioned above.  It is their negotiation skills.  I have seen Mona save clients $10,000, $20,000 up to $50,000 in one deal.  I´ve seen Lazarus deals where she has brought the dead contracts back to life.  What side of the negotiation table do you want to be on?

I could go on about her being a Christian who really tries to set an example to those around her. She is a grandmother of six.  She knows the geographical area and has lived here for 30 plus years. She has excellent resources and can match you up with many in the trades that can help you problem solve.  But I think you get the point.

I believe this gives you good reasons why you and all your friends, family and associates should use Mona.  With all of this compelling information, you too can tell the world why they should be trusting Mona with their real estate needs.  Thank you for taking the time to read this letter and we look forward to helping you and your referrals.

In summary, buying and selling a home is often the largest investment you´ll make in your life.  You should have the best advice possible.  While certain agents might stand out in certain categories, with rare exception, Mona will exceed virtually any agent you can name.
